Ac clutch question

mga sir,

i have a question lang about my car's ac clutch. i observed that at idle when the ac clutch engages then i rev the engine it stops rotating while still engaged but rotates again tapos after a few seconds disengage na. also napansin ko that it makes a loud and consistent ticking/clicking metallic noise while engaged sa umaga or sa unang gamit ng ac. after a few minutes ok naman na ulit. automatic pa rin naman ang pag on/off nya.
